Molasses Cookies - 10/10

After baking these cookies for a class presentation—a great way to get audience engagement points—they have become one of my favorite types of cookies. They are the perfect blend of sugary sweet and earthy spice, and will fill your home with a delicious aroma that will leave your mouth watering. These cookies are also so scrumptiously soft and very hard to burn—trust me, I tried. And, while they are a time commitment, the effort is well worth it when you take your first bite of your homemade molasses cookies, fresh out of the oven and headed right into the hungry stomachs of you and anyone else nearby.

Cranberry Orange Muffins - 8/10

Imagine waking up on a lovely Saturday. You have had a great night's rest and the only thing that would make it better is a delicious breakfast. Well, you're in luck, because what could be better than cranberry orange muffins? These zingy muffins combine cranberries and the zest of citrus fruits to form a flavor that really pops! Better yet, they are quick and easy to whip up in the morning, so no worries about missing out on your extra sleep. The one thing I would do is replace a bit of the batter with extra cranberries and cut the cranberries into slices, so that I can ensure the cranberries' sweet yet tart “pizzazz” can be tasted in every warm bite.

Dulce de Leche Chocoflan - 9/10

If you're looking for a little bit of a challenge in the kitchen this may be the dessert for you. “Dulce de Leche Chocoflan” is a Mexican treat, often referred to as “pastel impossible” or impossible flan. This cake receives its name because of the difficult nature of creating a two-layered cake and the necessity of unusual kitchen tools. However, don't let this name scare you. The flan includes a multitude of sweet and differently textured layers that combine to create a mouthwatering cake. So if you are ready for the challenge, grab your oven mitts and let’s roll!

Oreo Bon-Bons - 10/10

Whether you're searching for a holiday treat or just an evening dessert, Oreo bon-bons will satisfy your desire. These chocolate coated spheres feature a solid outer shell with a soft and creamy inside. Make these Oreo bon-bons your own with festive sprinkles or some chocolate drizzle.
